Prescott Frontier Days, Inc® hires Greg Mengarelli as their Business Development Manager

Prescott Frontier Days, Inc.® acquires business development manager PRESCOTT, AZ: The Prescott Frontier Days, Inc.® Board of Directors announced this week the recruitment of Greg Mengarelli to assume the position of business development manager. In the position, Mengarelli will assist the Board of Directors in fundraising activities for improvements to the rodeo grounds. The focus of the new position will be to expand operations to encourage year-round usage of the facilities to include concerts, weddings, festivals, and other western themed events.

When asked about the addition of Mengarelli, President, Chris Graff said: “Having Greg join our team will provide the Committee with an experienced, respected, successful businessman who understands importance of the rodeo to our Prescott lifestyle. As a long-term resident of Prescott, Greg is uniquely qualified to assist the committee with raising the funds needed to improve our facilities.”

Mengarelli is enthusiastic about the opportunity and had this to say: “To be associated with the World’s Oldest Rodeo is a thrill. I enjoyed watching my kids be wide-eyed during rodeo events—and now, I am watching that same reaction from my grandkids. I am honored to be part of this great organization and look forward to working with the Committee to modernize and improve the facilities at the rodeo grounds.”

In 1995, Greg and his wife, Sheila, moved to Prescott where they have raised their nine children, five natural and four adopted, ranging in ages from 12 to 27 years old. Before joining the Prescott Frontier Days Committee, Greg was the Executive Director of the United Christian Youth Camp for twenty-five years. Greg and his family enjoy the great outdoors boating, biking, hunting, and camping.

The World’s Oldest Rodeo happens in Prescott from June 28 – July 4 and is Prescott’s most anticipated event of the year, tickets and information are available at www.worldsoldestrodeo.com.
